SCD40 is one of the smallest true CO₂ sensors in its class, working on Sensirion’s photoacoustic NDIR (PASens®) principle. Its integrated humidity and temperature sensor provides signal compensation and additional humidity and temperature outputs. Its SMD design and tape and reel packaging make it suitable for automated assembly in high-volume production. The SCD41 version is also available for applications that need a wider range and a single-shot mode.
Key features
- True CO₂ measurement with photoacoustic NDIR
- Specified range: 400–2,000 ppm, ±(50 ppm + 5% of reading)
- Integrated humidity and temperature sensor, additional RH/T output
- Wide supply range: 2.4–5.5 V
- Compact 10.1 × 10.1 × 6.5 mm SMD housing, I²C interface
